Nominations are open at the tag set.

Please submit up to 12 choices for fandoms to be crossed over.

• New fandoms, and fandoms that already have tags on the Archive of Our Own, are both welcome.


• If you want tags that include the words "All Media Types" or "& Related Fandoms", please comment here to discuss them - I will not approve them without discussion.


• You can nominated different parts of a universe as separate choices (for example: Guardians of the Galaxy (Movies) and Captain America (Movies)) even if they share a universe and continuity. However, they must already be discrete parts of a storyline, and you will not be able to put them in the same request.


• I will approve nominations that overlap with other nominations. For example, I will approve Marvel Cinematic Universe and I will also approve Captain America (Movies).


• Questions/discussion welcome!

You can edit each nomination choice until it's approved or rejected or until nominations close. You don't have to choose all twelve at once.

Nominations will end on 12 June, 11:59pm EDT. I will post queries here as I go.


Please keep in mind the following for your sign-up, in case it helps you decide what to nominate:

• You have between 3 and 10 requests, and between 3 and 10 offers


• Each request and offer has to have between 2 and 10 fandoms in it


• You need to ask for at least 5 or more different fandoms across all your requests in total


• Your requests need to include at least 5 unique combinations of fandoms (ie, AxB and AxC are 2 unique combinations; a request for fandoms D, E, F, G together gives 6 unique combinations all by itself)


• If you put two fandoms in the same request, you're interested in seeing them crossed over, so don't do either of:
  • putting overlapping parts of the same canon into the same request (that means someone could match with you on something that isn't a crossover); or
  • grouping several fandoms in the same request and saying you're only interested in the first one crossed with any of the others (your creator could match with you on any of the two fandoms in the request, so the first one isn't guaranteed)


• You can also specify whether you're interested in fic, art, or both, and fusions, crossovers, or both, using tags


• Crossworks does not match on characters or relationships. You can mention preferences and you can DNW some proportion of characters and relationships but if you only want specific characters to appear, consider another fandom or another exchange.

Hello! I'd like to nominate "Chronicles of Narnia - All Media Types". I'm mainly just in love with the world of Narnia, and have zero preference for the books or the movies. If someone's familiar with one over the other, I don't want to stop them from creating for me by saying it has to be the books or it has to be the movies, I'm down with either, I just vibe with the characters that show up and the world as a whole.

I'm not super familiar with all the Disney princess movies, sorry. Is there a specific list of movies that is generally agreed to fall into this category? If you can point me to something like that, then sure! Otherwise I think it might be too ambiguous, sorry.

That's promising, but could you help me out a little more please? I may be missing something really obvious, but I'm struggling to find a discrete list of movies on that site.

I also tried to use the search bar to narrow down movies and here's what I got

-Searching on "basil of baker street" on the basis that I would expect it not to be a princess movie, I got "there are no results for based street" (good gracious)

-Similarly, searching on "robin hood" because fox Maid Marian is not technically a princess but I feel you could make an argument for her, I got "there are no results for robin home"

-Then I searched on "Moana" because that ought to give results, and rather than merch or anything like a main Moana page, I got two articles, one of which is about Encanto. (Would you consider Mirabel a princess? That seems dubious.)

tl;dr - more help please?

I was thinking about using that tag for fusion requests/offers but it covers various games/anime/novels (the Fate series is massive) so maybe its a little too broad. I saw one of the Fate games was nominated already so that's probably works too

Sorry for the very late response!

It really depends on what you want. If you want to put 'Fate/stay night & Related Fandoms' into a request and you're okay with a creator picking something from literally any part of the franchise to fuse the other fandoms' characters into, or picking characters from literally any part of the franchise to fuse into the other canon, then sure.

Just in case - if you put two canons together in a fusion request, it's up to your creator which direction to fuse them. Hope that helps for choosing nominations.

Hello, I am seeking guidance on how I might be able to nominate...something like the category/genre of HR compliance training videos?

This idea comes from a chat with a friend who was watching an HR training video about sexual harassment, and commented "No one talks like this" about the scenario she was watching.

Me: No, they really don't
All training videos take place in alternate universes (ooh, there would be an idea for a yuletide fandom)
Friend: i am now picturing a Hannibal Characters in a Compliance Training Video Universe fic full of the most baffling dialogue imaginable

So I feel like "[Fandom] Characters in HR Training Video Scenarios" could be a fun vein to tap for any number of fandoms! But it's not like there's a specific video I want to nominate for this. (Or even necessarily the specific topic of sexual harassment--there can also be training videos on ethics generally or information security, for instance.)

If there's not a way we can make this work, I have plenty of other things I can nominate and request. But it would be fun if we could!

I hear you on 'it could be fun'! I'm not sure it's especially well suited for this format. To start, I need a distinct canon, though we could solve that by linking a specific set of videos.

If a requester puts two canons together in a fusion request, it's up to the creator which direction to fuse them. You can't specify "Hannibal characters in the universe of this video" vs "The compliance video characters are investigating bizarre killings and one of them is a suave gourmand psychiatrist who may not really be helping".

So if you'd specifically like other existing fandoms with a general compliance video "flavour", that may not work out very well.

HOWEVER, it sounds great as a tag in auexchange?

This is part of the Goblin Emperor series (which is already nominated) but is mostly a separate part of the world from The Goblin Emperor novel, with only a single character that appears in both the CoA series and TGE.

I would love to have tortall (tamora pierce) separated into different series or at least to have the song of the lioness series separate, since many people are more familiar with Kel's series and I don't know those characters at all. since I'm assuming I couldn't request tortall (umbrella fandom) and specify only song of the lioness characters? thanks!

You're very welcome to nominate specific Tortall subseries even though Tortall is already in the tag set. For this exchange, it's actually fine to have things in the tag set that overlap each other.

You wouldn't then put Tortall and Protectors of the Small or The Immortals Quartet in the same request, but it's totally fine for people who are comfortable with different parts of a series or franchise to put overlapping things in the same offer.
